Wyberton Primary School is a well-established primary school located on the outskirts of Boston. The school is committed to providing students with a well-rounded education that includes physical fitness and outdoor activities. So much so, they are hosting an inspirational workshop with Leicester Riders BBL Championship Winner Chris Tawiah in 2024 to help raise money for vital training, medical and competition costs, as well as the school and other athletes across the country.

The school wanted to promote physical activity and create new opportunities for outdoor exercise. They were looking for a way to make their outdoor space more engaging and encourage children to be active and healthy, so they turned to Sunshine Gym.

Their main focus was an exercise package, including installation and surfacing, that could be used by many children at once. Working with a tight budget, our Specialist Sales Manager visited the school, discussed different options, took photos and listened to the school's requirements.

After working through the costs, Sunshine Gym provided our first, new (not yet released at the time) Children’s Integr8 units and rubber surfacing within the school's budget. Since the installation, our Children’s Integr8 unit, which features a double health walker, double slalom skier, sky stepper, horse rider, Tai Chi Discs and an Arm Bike, has become one of our best-selling packages.

The installation was completed with a rubber mulch surface and geotextile membrane, providing a maintenance-free cushioned surface for the children to play on.

The installation has successfully encouraged the students to be more active and has contributed to a positive and healthy school environment.
