Launchpad provides accommodation and support to help veterans make a successful transition from military to civilian life. The charity was founded in 2013 by former members of the military who passionately believe that veterans struggling with transition deserve the nation’s help and assistance.

Driven by the desire to provide accessible and convenient opportunities for veterans to engage in physical activity, the availability of on-site fitness facilities was seen as a way to promote a healthier lifestyle and improve overall wellbeing.

Due to limited space, our Space Saver Outdoor Gym Multi-Unit was chosen. Featuring four pieces of equipment combined into one, it maximises the social interaction of the users while using up minimal outdoor space.

The two Slalom Skiers work the upper, lower and core muscles and improve balance and coordination. The Sky Stepper provides an excellent cardiovascular workout for the whole body, while the Horse Rider moves arms and legs in succession allowing for a full body workout.

We installed the equipment, adding Sunshine Gym grass matting to protect the ground and provide a cushioned step on and off the equipment.

The outdoor gym equipment has contributed to a more positive and inclusive environment within the Launchpad, contributing to improved mental well-being among veterans.
